[Koror, Palau] – The Grants Office in the Office of the President announces a call for grant proposals that align with this year’s theme of “Innovative Learning and Excellence.” This grant can fund small projects up to $10,000 USD.
The Grants Office is asking organizations to look for innovative ways to improve their situation and to learn what other countries are doing to serve their communities effectively and efficiently. We are looking for projects that look for ways to use the resources we have to ensure less waste and to better utilize current technology for the best output. These opportunities are open to individuals, families, and communities. Projects in the areas of leadership, education, environment, job training/employability skills and community development will be encouraged. Gender equity aspects are to be taken into consideration. Government agencies, State governments, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and recognized NGO’s providing services to families and communities will be invited to develop proposals for submission to the Palau Grants Office.
Director Van Tassell would like to emphasize that we are looking for proposals that incorporate this year’s theme “Innovative Learning and Excellence” into their projects. All organizations are welcome to submit proposals. “We hope that community organizations as well as other groups will take advantage of this opportunity. We are excited to see some inventive proposals.”
Deadline for all grant proposal submissions is June 30, 2019. All interested organizations are encouraged to submit their complete proposals prior to this date.
Completed applications should be emailed to the Grants Office email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications may also be dropped off at the President’s Satellite Office in Meyuns.
